Silvana made my daughter’s 10th birthday extra special! She even decorated the place beautifully and had planned activities for the kids in between baking time. Every single kid had a good time and was engaged with their cooking. She explained every step extremely well.. The dessert my daughter made from the class was super delicious. My daughter said “it’s the BEST birthday party she’s ever had!”

Dear Chef Silvana, I want to thank you for the beautiful cooking camp. Nathan brought home five delicious dishes every day and learned different cooking techniques. He took pride in his creations and was excited about cooking. He has made several cakes after the camp. I've been learning the recipes with him every Sunday since then. Silvana made the most spectacular Passionfruit cake for my birthday event. Was the hit of the party! It was gorgeously decorated with fresh flowers and edible fruits. And the passionfruit cake itself is probably the best cake I’ve eaten. I will order it again for our next family party.

Darren had an absolute fantastic time. He came home excited and eager to share the new cooking techniques and recipes he learned during the class. I appreciate how you created a safe and inclusive environment that allowed him to explore his culinary interests and gain confidence in the kitchen.

My 11 year old daughter attended camp July 2023 and my husband and I were blown away by Silvana’s Dessert Academy. Silvana is skilled in teaching the kids and we could not believe the delicious food that came home to us every evening. The quality of the food and the number of dishes/desserts the kids made each day was amazing. My daughter learned a lot and had a wonderful time.
Ellie, Bella, and Loralei, (10,12,14) came to Seattle to celebrate their Grandfather's 70th birthday. The day they spent with Silvana was the height of their vacation. They made 3 lovely and creative birthday cakes that our family are enjoying very much. Silvana has a profesional attitude and a way with children. No doubt we will use Silvana's Dessert Academy again when our granddaughters are coming to visit.
My Daughter, Sage recently had her 11th birthday party with Silvana at her Dessert Academy. The kids had an Amazing time, and Sylvana was very patient and accommodating (considering I messed up the count and had an extra kid) when I made an error counting children for the class! She set up another place "no problem" and they got to work.The party was two months ago and Sage has been baking and cooking since! Did I mention she's 11? I bought her different pans and modeling chocolate and now she won't stop with project's.Thanks again, Sylvana for your services! If you're on the fence, about having your kids party with Sylvana, go ahead and sign up, you won't be disappointed!

We had my daughter's 11th birthday party at Silvana's and all the kids LOVED it (even the non-bakers!) They made gorgeous red velvet cakes to bring home, and over a 3.5-hour party also ate pizza, played on the zip line, opened a piñata, and had a party with another cake Silvana made - amazing! Highly recommend it.

We held my 8-year old's birthday party at Silvana's Dessert Academy. It was perfect!! The kiddos had a great time swinging on the zipline in the backyard, whacking the pinata with a rolling pin, and learning how to make truffles. They were excited to bring home the fruits of their labor: absolutely gorgeous truffles. The birthday cake was incredibly delicious. And also, Silvana was able to accommodate some pretty challenging food allergies. We will absolutely have a party with Silvana again!!

It is a professionally run dessert and baking school where your child can join other students in a fun and creative professional environment, while learning lifelong kitchen skills. The Academy is run by pastry chef and dessert caterer Silvana Junge, who prides herself in using only fresh, local, and mostly organic ingredients in both her classes, and her confections.There are great selection of the cooking camps here. “Best Birthday experience EVER!” was what our daughter shared with us. That is a pretty high compliment considering she’s had some Stellar parties! Our Daughter celebrated her birthday with 5 of her friends this past weekend. 3 hour drop off party with baking lesson taught by Silvana, birthday cake, piñata, zip line, and more. If you want your child to have an experience that he/she will remember for a lifetime, this is it! If your child loves baking, this is it.Silvana has been so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. She pays close attention to details and is very hospitable. Each child was served hot chocolate with candy cane, she served coffee to us (parents). We walked into a beautiful party table with a stunning chocolate cake. The kids baking station was ready with all the tools including cute matching aprons and hats (the hats they took home).The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Every child had the best time. We’ve done many events of every size and Silvana’s one of a kind.Thank you Silvana! We will be back for a non-birthday experience!

Silvana brings passion, warmth, and talent to these camps, and the kids leave feeling accomplished with new skills and cooking/baking interests. The kids bring home so much delicious food with high quality ingredients, and it's such a treat to have a personal chef that week. We've also amassed a large collection of recipes over the years, and the kids can recreate their favorite dishes and desserts at home.
